Cyclist memorial :: May 17, 2006
(A repeat today, nothing was working for me last night, and today is the Ride of Silence, so I decided to repeat this picture from a few weeks back. For more information take a look at http://spacing.ca/wire/?p=776 for information on the ride in Toronto, or http://www.rideofsilence.org/ for rides around the world.) It has been two weeks now since two people were struck and killed in separate accidents in Toronto. Here is a shot of a spray-painted white bike to mark the spot, not far from my house, where Professor Hubert van Tol's life ended under the wheels of a dump truck.
