ROM Rotunda ceiling :: January 26, 2010
One of my favourite rooms in Toronto is the Rotunda in the Royal Ontario Museum, just inside the old main entrance along University Avenue. In particular is the ceiling, made of more than a million tiny pieces of imported Venetian glass with "patterns and symbols representing cultures throughout the ages and around the world". I've set up a page with a history, photos, even a link to an audio tour on the ROM Rotunda
