The colours are just beautiful in the city this week. I thought I'd use them here to help contrast yet another piece of art in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
This is "A Step Beyond" by Oliver Tiura, 1990. I've posted a more complete view of the sculpture here on my Flickr account

The Mount Pleasant Cemetery is a vast cemetery in the middle of Toronto known for its wide collection of trees. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2000, Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto was opened on November 4, 1876. It was designed by landscape gardener H. A. Englehardt to include 'winding paths and roads, irregularly shaped islets, panoramic perspectives, and monuments inserted in a naturalistic setting enriched by a wide variety of groves and trees.'
This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
