| I've lived in Toronto, on a Great Lake, all my life, and spent time on Nottawasaga Bay as well, but they are nothing compared to the North Atlantic Ocean that defines Halifax and the surrounding area. Peggy's cove and the nearby site of the Swissair Flight 111 memorial are two stand-out locations.
