Yes, this is a photograph, and no there is no computer processing trickery.
I thought I'd try my hand at the "suspend a light above the camera in a dark room" process that Sam at DDOI made "famous" last week (hence the bad pun for a title).
I used a flashing LED light from the back of my bike. I'm still amazed that in this picture the timing worked perfectly and the swinging somehow managed to map to the flashing.

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
