(A duplicate today.) Back downtown, not far from the mural from a few days ago, is this elephant out on the front lawn of a house.
This image is a perfect example of why I wanted to have a photoblog; I live in a huge, varied city, but I also have a 9-5 job, a kid, a mortgage, and all that so it is easy to fall into a pretty limited routine. A routine that can be broken with a friend saying "Hey, you have a photoblog, why not take a picture of this elephant downtown?"

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
