Glowing orb in the sky

( A duplicate today. ) There was a strange glowing orb in the sky last Friday, and the normally grey sky had a strange almost blue colour to it.

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
