Growing up in Toronto the street name "Avenue Road" never seemed strange, until I made friends with people who grew up elsewhere, then realized what an odd name it really is.
It even has its own Wikipedia entry with a quote from Robert Fulford who once wrote that its name "sounded like an identity crisis with pavement."

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
Be sure to say hi if you see me on the street!
