I haven't had this sign translated, but I'm pretty sure they were selling food. Changsha was SO fascinating for us North American's... much more so than Beijing.

Perpetually Soaring
We've made two trips to China and enjoyed the city streets, temples, and landscapes - especially the Great Wall!
This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
