Like I said yesterday, here is one of a pair of owl sculptures out front the public works building at Caledonia and Lawrence Ave west. I have no idea why this building in particular has such wonderful art outside -- it is a pumping station built back in 1958 -- but in 2004 there was a recomendation that it be added to the City of Toronto Inventory of Heritage Properties (see this PDF with all the details, including a description of the building).

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
