Chinese bowl faces

Another shot of an antique Chinese bowl we've had in the family for generations... It is amazing to think someone 100 years ago in China painted each of these strokes by hand. Imagine their reaction to the fact that their work would be on display like this a century later.

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
