Heavenly Temple

This is a shot of the 1/2 scale version of the Heavenly Temple, or TianTan Heaven's Gate, in Beijing. The 'lantern' is 18m wide by 12m tall. In the background is the Cinesphere, the world's first permanent IMAX theatre, and the largest screen in Toronoto.

This is my long standing photoblog - think Instagram before Instagram. Back in 2004 I bought a Canon digital 10D with a great lens, and thought I'd force myself to take lots of pictures. The site contains more than 1,300 photos, so safe to say I have the quantity part taken care of.
